Terms of Service

By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using Syntax software ("Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Software.

Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software for personal use only. Each license key is valid for one user only.

Licenses are hardware-locked. On first launch, your license binds to a hardware identifier (HWID) for the machine you activate it on, and it will only run on that machine thereafter. If you change or rebuild your hardware, you may request one free HWID reset by opening a ticket on Discord. Further resets are granted at our discretion and may be refused where the pattern of requests suggests the license is being used on more than one machine.

You agree not to:

• Share, resell, lend, rent, or otherwise distribute your license key or account
• Use one license on more than one machine, or attempt to defeat the hardware lock
• Tamper with the Software in any way — including patching, modifying, repacking, injecting into, hooking, debugging, or emulating it, or running it under a debugger, virtual machine, or sandbox in order to analyse it
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, or attempt to recover its source
• Interfere with the loader, the auto-updater, or any licence, integrity, or anti-tamper check
• Publicly leak, mirror, or redistribute the Software or any part of it
• Use the Software for illegal purposes
• Attempt to bypass any security features

Key sharing and tampering are treated as the most serious violations of these terms. A license found in use by more than one person, distributed in any form, or used with modified or tampered software will be revoked immediately and permanently, with no refund, and the associated account and hardware may be blacklisted as described under Enforcement below.

You are not permitted to use, purchase, or access the Software if you are:

• An employee, contractor, or affiliate of any game development company or game publisher
• An employee, contractor, or affiliate of any anti-cheat company or organization
• Acting on behalf of, or providing information to, any of the above entities

Any account found to be associated with the above will be immediately terminated without refund. By using the Software, you confirm that you are not affiliated with any game developer, game publisher, or anti-cheat organization.

We may suspend or permanently terminate your license and account access at any time, with or without notice, where we believe these terms have been breached. Depending on the breach, enforcement may include any or all of the following:

• Revoking the license key and any remaining time on it
• Banning the account from Syntax services
• Adding your hardware identifier to our HWID blacklist, which prevents that machine from activating any future license, including one bought under a different account
• Refusing future purchases

Enforcement action does not entitle you to a refund, and any unused time on a revoked license is forfeited. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute rather than contacting us results in an immediate and permanent ban from all Syntax services.

If you believe enforcement action was taken against you in error, contact us on Discord and we will review it.

All sales are final and we do not offer refunds. Licence keys are delivered instantly and grant immediate access to digital software that cannot be returned once issued.

This includes, without limitation: changing your mind, buying the wrong product or plan, being unable to run the Software on your hardware, a product entering an "Updating" status after a game patch, detection of the Software, and any ban applied to your game account.

If something is not working, open a ticket on Discord before doing anything else. We would far rather fix the problem or extend your time than have you out of pocket, and we will always try to make it right. See our Refund Policy for the full statement.

We provide software updates through our built-in auto-updater. Support is provided through our Discord server. We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue the Software at any time.

The Software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Use at your own risk. We are not responsible for any damages arising from the use of the Software.

No detection status is a guarantee. Anti-cheat systems change without warning, and software listed as undetected may be detected at any time. You accept that using the Software carries a real and unavoidable risk that your game account is suspended or permanently banned by the game publisher, and that hardware bans imposed by a publisher are outside our control. A game ban is not grounds for a refund, and all sales are final.
